On June 10, a 60-year-old MTA bus driver was stabbed in the neck while driving in East New York. The attack took place after the perpetrator began arguing with the driver over a route detour. The worker, Isaac Egharevba, had been on the job for 17 years, his union, TWU Local 100, said. And recently, a subway conductor was viciously sliced in his neck with a box cutter at 3:30 a.m., and only survived because a health professional was on the train and heard his cry for help. No security footage exists from that incident, and the criminal remains on the loose, but in this latest crime, security cameras captured photos of the suspect and the police are actively seeking him.
