Can you believe that seventy-five percent of adults who live in New York City don’t exercise regularly? Yet just 30 minutes of even moderate physical activity, 4-5 days a week, can literally save your life. Once again, Empire BlueCross BlueShield is partnering with 106.7 Lite FM for the 2nd annual Empire Health Movement program, to motivate New Yorkers to improve their health and well-being.
Here’s how you can join the Empire Health Movement:
· Sign up online at www.1067litefm.com and type in Keywords: “Empire Health.” Then, you will be able to track your exercise activities.
· You can sign up as an individual participant or as an employer group team (each team can have up to 20 participants).
· Health tips and videos will be provided from The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper, and online health calculators and guides will be made available too. You can even create your own page.
· One individual participant will be randomly selected to win a personal Skype session with Bob Harper of “The Biggest Loser,” where he will discuss and assist them with their personal health and wellness goals. In addition, one participating employer group team will be randomly selected to win a healthy luncheon with 106.7 Lite FM’s Rich Kaminski and a nutritionist.
