At a NYCOSH awards celebration on Tuesday, June 5, some notable labor luminaries were honored including Vincent Alvarez, President of the NYC Central Labor Council, Richard Winsten, an attorney with Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. and Deborah Axt, Co-Director of Make the Road-NY. LaborPress had the opportunity to interview those in attendance, such as Ken Brynien, President of the Public Employees Federation and Joseph Hansen, President of the United Food & Commerical Workers Union.
