DHL Teamsters descended on a DHL Annual General Meeting in Germany recently, decrying union busting and anti-union tactics of the global delivery giant. Rank-and-file, organizing committee members, and Teamsters International VP At-Large Juan Campos were at the meeting to take their complaints directly to executives and directors. Issues raised were poor safety conditions, racial discrimination, and anti-labor practices in the U.S. “Waging war against the workers who make you successful is no way to run a business,” said Francisco Chacon, a DHL Teamster for 29 years, and shop steward with Local 705 in Chicago.
