By an overwhelming majority of 97%, UPS Teamsters have voted to strike if their demands are not met by a July 31 deadline. Tough-talking Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien said, “If this multibillion-dollar corporation fails to deliver on the contract that our hard-working members deserve, UPS will be striking itself.” There are over 340,000 UPS package delivery drivers and warehouse logistic worker in the U.S. Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman called out UPS over its $100 billion haul in 2022 alone, while not giving Teamster members their fair share.
