The United Auto Workers and General Motors have come to a tentative agreement, weeks after the union went on strike against Ford, GM, and Stellanis. The union had already reached tentative deals with Ford on Wed. Oct. 25, and Stellanis on Sat. Oct. 28. All striking workers have already returned to work, or in the case of GM, will be doing so in the next few days. Major wins include wage increases, cost of living increases, improved retirement benefits, and the conversion of temporary workers to permanent after only a few months.
