A scene from “MJ The Musical” at the Neil Simon Theatre.

New York, NY – “MJ The musical” returns “King of Pop” Michael Jackson to the spotlight. The show, featuring over 30 Jackson songs including Beat It, Thriller, Billie Jean and Don’t Stop Until You Get Enough, takes place in 1992 just prior to the late icon’s “Dangerous” world tour.

If you are a Michael Jackson fan you will love the music, songs dancing and the sensational young artist portraying MJ — Myles Frost. The script by Lynn Nottage, however, is weak. Christopher Wheeldon’s choreography and direction is quite adequate — but no one can approach the electricity of Michael Jackson. Strictly recommended for diehard Michael Jackson fans.

MJ The Musical is playing at the Neil Simon Theatre at 250 W 52nd Street.
