Kenneth Berenger, Sr., of Franklin Square, New York, formerly of Greenpoint, New York, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 84.
Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Berenger; his sons, Kenneth Berenger (wife Amanda) and Keith Berenger (wife Laureen); and his cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Jarred, Jake, Kody, and Paige, who brought him great pride and joy.
A proud and dedicated ironworker for 45 years, Kenneth was a longtime member of Ironworkers Union Local 580. He was honored as Iron Worker of the Year in 2000, a distinction that reflected his exceptional skill, commitment, and strong work ethic throughout his career.
Kenneth will be remembered for his loyalty to his family, his strength, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him.
