SAG-AFTRA and the major Hollywood studios’ representative, AMPTP, are set to resume negotiations on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Talks were broken off on Oct. 11, with SAG-AFTRA continuing its long strike, and the AMPTP claiming there were too many differences between what the actors’ union wanted and what it was willing to concede. A major sticking point remains revenue-sharing from streaming. The SAG-AFTRA strike has now extended over 100 days, the longest in its history.
