Republicans in Congress Voted to Reduce Healthcare Funding

All seven House Republicans from New York turned their back on New Yorker’s by supporting legislation that reduced funding for healthcare. Instead of voting for New Yorker’s, they sided with Donald Trump – voting in favor of the Big Ugly Bill that reduces healthcare services across the country.

Here’s what the 7 House Republicans from New York voted for:

  • 1.5 million New Yorker’s losing access to health care.
  • Families skipping meals because of cuts to SNAP.
  • 63,000 jobs cut in the state.

The Republicans in Congress must be held accountable for not supporting Americans. The devastating impacts of the Republican Big Ugly Bill will result in small hospitals closing, many low income Americans loosing healthcare, and costs increasing for health insurance.
