A female Lyft driver was terminated after a passenger saw and reported that she had a stun gun in her car. Anita Smith, who lives in Baltimore and is the driver in question, is a former school bus driver. Recent reports in the high-crime city of Baltimore have police investigating a rise in carjackings and robberies targeting drivers and passengers using rideshare apps. Smith says she just wanted to protect herself, and now she’s out of a job.
