The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) launched a survey on December 12 that aims to study the working conditions and pay of VFX (visual effects) workers. The survey polls the workers on salary, workplace safety, overtime pay, and more. IATSE organizer and VFX worker Mark Patch said that although VFX is integral to most film and television productions, the workers are not represented by a union.
