With management of key hospitals refusing to settle a contract with the nurses, the NYSNA Strike Continues.
Although bargaining has begun, nurses at Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai Morningside and West, Montefiore, and NewYork-Presbyterian are in their second week on strike.
Earlier this week Senator Bernie Sanders and Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined the nurses on the picket line along with hundreds from many unions. The over 15,000 nurses striking these hospitals are not returning to work until a fair contract is signed by management of the four hospitals.
