Proudly serving ATU Local 1181-1061 since 1996, I’m a Bronx native and Puerto Rican by heritage, with deep roots in the labor movement and an unshakable commitment to worker advocacy. I began my journey behind the wheel as a New York City school bus driver, where I quickly saw the power of union solidarity and stepped up to serve.
Over the years, I’ve held key positions as assistant shop steward, shop steward, field representative, Vice President, Recording Secretary, elected President in 2022 and reelected this past June. Driven by a simple belief ‘when workers rise together, we all move forward.’
I fight to negotiate strong, fair contracts that our members deserve, and put our members’ safety at the forefront. In October 2025, I was proud to be recognized at the 2025 Scouting America Annual Labor luncheon as a Good Scout, a testament to the collective strength of our union and the battles we continue to win – TOGETHER.
OUR VOICE – OUR POWER! WE ARE UNION STRONG
