Newark, New Jersey – On Wednesday, October 4th, 77 Teamsters along with 123 other union members
boarded a plane bound for Puerto Rico. These volunteers along with thousands of other union members are committed to assisting the Puerto Rico  relief efforts. Local and national unions from across the country  are  working together to encourage members to volunteer. Their professional skills in health care, transportation, engineering and construction are desperately needed to restore critical services to the Island. This mobilization effort is part of a joint effort coordinated by the AFL-CIO.
