The Occupy Wall Street protests are expected to “widen” as more people join the crowd.

Ford is planning to “in-source” jobs in Upstate New York, potentially adding 400 jobs to the area.

A New York judge denied the Transport Workers Union’s request to prevent the NYPD from using city buses to transport Occupy Wall Street arrestees.

The Fiscal Policy Institute recently found that 48 percent of New York business owners are first-generation immigrants.  

American farmers are finding that it’s more difficult to hire local employees than expected.

Mayor Bloomberg has notified city agencies that they must cut another two percent from their budgets this year and has put a hiring freeze in place.
