Thanks For Your Support

The election is over. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The journey we started back in January has come to an end. I cannot begin to thank everyone who supported me and believed in our campaign to bring honest representation to our district. I am grateful to the volunteers who worked so hard for long months and endless hours.
I am grateful to those who contributed to my campaign and allowed us to get our message out to so many. And I am so grateful to all of you who voted for me. Your support demonstrated that we made a difference.
We didn’t win, but with the backing of thousands and thousands of voters, we succeeded in promoting the issues and ideals of hard working Americans. These are issues we will continue to support as we move forward to work with President Obama, Senator Gillibrand, Governor Cuomo, Senator Schumer and other elected officials who believe in the power and the value of America’s middle class.
During the campaign I met with people from across Staten Island and in Brooklyn who shared their concerns and their dreams for our country. Their stories will serve to inspire me as I continue to stand up for honest leadership and work on behalf of our seniors, our children, and our families.
While this campaign has come to an end we will continue to work to help build our future and to put our communities back together and see that people who are suffering will get the help they so desperately need.
I am proud to be an American, a New Yorker, a Staten Islander and your friend.
