New York, NY – The Teamster Center Services, a Taft-Hartley Trust Fund, will hold its 24th Annual Health and Benefits Expo on October 6th, 2017, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. The conference sponsor exhibitors are a wide variety of health and pension benefit service providers from all over the United States, while the event attendees are trustees, administrators, consultants, and key staff members of multi-employer and public benefit plans. The conference will have an exhibit hall with fifty-six vendors exhibiting their products and services. The Diamond Sponsor is Empire BlueCross/BlueShield.

Founded in 1962, TCS provides advice, referral and case management services to the participants of its member welfare funds.  It serves twenty Teamster unions, reaching approximately 32,000 Teamsters and their families.

“This is the Northeast’s largest event for multi-employee and public benefit plans,” says Andy Johnson, Fund Administrator. “Our Expo is about addressing the need to have member benefit plans network with vendors. This is a very unique opportunity for vendors to meet clients and clients to meet vendors.”

Companies in attendance will include: Empire BlueCross/BlueShield, MagnaCare, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Verizon BlueCross. The workshops, which will be held starting at 9.a.m., are “Can You Hear Me Now? Debunking common myths about hearing loss, including: who’s affected, the magnitude of the problem, and the cost of not treating it”, sponsored by EPIC Hearing Healthcare HealthCare, “Update – What’s happening and what should plans do”, sponsored by Milliman Health Management, “Getting Beyond Provider Discounts”, sponsored by Telligen Health Management Solutions, “Stop Loss Marketplace and Claim Trends”, sponsored by Symetra, and “The Power of Prevention and Engagement Strategies – Keep Members Rocking & Rolling”, Sponsored by EHE.
