The NYS AFL-CIO has endorsed Congressman Bill Owens. His district represents approximately 65,000 working men and women in the 21st Congressional District.
NYS AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento said, “Congressman Owens understands that what New Yorkers need is good jobs now, not more political rhetoric. Since his election to Congress, Bill Owens has worked to bring widespread economic opportunity back to the North Country.”
“Our members understand that the future of the middle class depends on strong representatives like Bill Owens. The NYS AFL-CIO will coordinate a grassroots effort over the coming weeks and months to ensure that Congressman Owens can continue to fight for the working families of the 21st district in Congress.”
