Labor News on New Year's Resolutions

Do you, like me, make New Year’s resolutions that you don’t keep? Well, here are a few simple, easy resolutions that all of us should not only make, but stick with, in 2011.
It’s time to give up the cigarettes. You know why. Enough said.
Work exercise in to your daily routine. If you’re not getting enough exercise on the job, then consider what you could do to get that heart rate up and muscles working. If you work in an office, buy a resistance band and exercise at your desk.
Drink a little more water – and a little less alcohol.
Catch up on your sleep. Getting 7-9 hours of good sleep a night can make you feel like a million bucks and you’ll be more productive on the job.
Eat more veggies and fruit – and a little less red meat and processed foods.
Lose a few pounds. No need to go on the grapefruit diet – just eat a little less and choose healthier foods. You’ll feel better and you’ll look better.
So say we do it for a healthier 2011? I’m in.
