Jamaica, NY – The Queens Library and Local 1321 Queens Library Guild agreed on an update to their Collective Bargaining Agreement on May 14. "We are happy to announce that the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Library and Local 1321 has been updated for the first time since 1999,” said  Queens Library President and CEO Thomas W. Galante and Local 1321 President John Hyslop, in a joint message. 

“Through cooperative efforts such as this newly revised contract, the library and the union are committed to finding opportunities to work together to support the important work you all do every day and to continuously improve communication and transparency. We will keep you posted on additional initiatives that support these goals and move the organization forward.”

The agreement extends through December 31, 2014.
