Waltham, Mass – Adjunct and part-time faculty at Brandeis University voted overwhelmingly to unionize Dec. 18. The 128-28 vote makes the university the sixth Boston-area campus in the last two years where staff have joined the Faculty Forward union, a division of Service Employees International Union Local 509, after Northeastern, Bentley, Lesley, Tufts, and Boston universities.
